Human connection is the heart
of my work.

For twenty years, I worked in the tech industry with a single mission: connecting the world. I built and led teams at Google, Slack, and Salesforce, co-founded Future Forum — a research consortium studying the future of work — and wrote the bestselling book How the Future Works.

But as my career progressed, I noticed that the more connected we became, the lonelier we felt.

The future of work isn't just about technology. It's about the people who make work meaningful, joyful, and — dare I say it — fun! The moments of connection are what define our experience.

Today, I write, speak, and advise on the future of human connection, including how we rebuild time generosity, hospitality, and wisdom, at work and in our everyday lives.
